Effect observation of cryotherapy on long-term high-risk HPV infection of cervix
Objective To investigate the effect of cryotherapy on long-term high-risk human papillomavirus(HPV)infec-tion of the cervix. Methods A total of 80 patients with high-risk HPV infection who were treated in the gynecological clinic of Shanghai Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Hospital from June 2021 to June 2022 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into cryotherapy group and interferon group by lottery method, with 40 cases in each group. The results of HPV,cervical thin-prep cytology test(TCT)and cervical multi-point biopsy were observed after 6 months of follow-up.Results After 6 months of observation, the negative conversion of HPV in the cryotherapy group was better than that in the interferon group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in TCT result between the two groups(P>0.05).The pathological result of cervical biopsy in the cryotherapy group was better than that in the interferon group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Cryotherapy is more effective than interferon in the treatment of long-term high-risk HPV infection of the cervix, improving the negative conversion of HPV,and has a better effect on low-grade cervical squamous intraepithelial lesions.
