Effect of the community dementia prevention mode based on Omaha in-tervention system on cognitive function,sleep disorder,and quality of life in stroke patients
Objective To explore the effect of community dementia prevention mode guided by omaha intervention system in stroke patients.Methods A total of 80 stroke patients from Renmin Road Community,Huaxin Community,Huangchaling Community,and Nanhua Community in Hengyang City from March 2022 to May 2022 were selected as the study objects,and they were divided into intervention group(38 cases)and control group(37 cases)according to random number table method.The control group received routine community nursing,while the intervention group received management methods based on the omaha intervention system for community dementia prevention.The mini-mental state examination(MMSE)score,Pittsburgh sleep scale(PSQI)score,stroke specialized quality of life scale(SS-QOL)score and satisfaction scores were compared between the two groups.Results There were no significant differences in MMSE,PSQI and SS-QOL scores between the two groups before intervention(P>0.05).After 3 months of intervention,MMSE and SS-QOL scores in the in-tervention group were higher than those in the control group,and PSQI scores were lower than those in the control group,with statistical significances(P<0.05).The satisfaction rate with the community dementia prevention intervention model among the intervention subjects exceeded 80%.Conclusion Stroke patients receiving the management of community de-mentia prevention mode based on omaha intervention system can improve the cognitive function sleep quality and quality of life,so as to have high nursing satisfaction.
