Effect of Ulinastatin combined with L-carnitine on myocardial injury in sepsis and influence on cytokines
Objective To investigate the effect of Ulinastatin combined with L-carnitine on myocardial injury in sepsis and influence on cytokines. Methods A total of 104 patients with myocardial injury in sepsis admitted to Guangzhou Hospital of Integrated Traditional and Western Medicine from May 2021 to December 2022 were selected as research subjects, and they were divided into control group(n=52)and research group(n=52)by lottery.Patients in the control group were treated with L-carnitine on the basis of conventional treatment, and patients in the research group were treated with Ulinastatin on the basis of control group. The clinical therapeutic effect, cytokine level and adverse reactions of patients in the two groups were compared. Results After treatment, the total clinical effective rate of the research group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the level of C-reactive protein(CRP),lactic acid(Lac),creatine kinase-MB(CK-MB),high-sensitive cardiac troponin(TNT-HSST),brain natriuretic peptide(Pro BNP),interleukin-6(IL-6),interleukin-10(IL-10),tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)were lower than those of control group, and CD4+level and CD4+/CD8+were higher than those of control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The total incidence of adverse reactions in the research group was lower than that in the control group, the differ-ence was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion In the clinical treatment of patients with myocardial injury in sepsis, the combined with Ulinastatin and L-carnitine can improve the clinical effect, and the effect is more prominent in the control of cytokine levels. There are no obvious adverse reactions during the treatment, and the safety is high, which is worthy of promotion and application.
