Effect of heat sensitive moxibustion combined with acupoint injection of Neostigmine on urinary retention after spinal cord injury
Objective To investigate the effect of heat sensitive moxibustion combined with acupoint injection of Neostig-mine on urinary retention after spinal cord injury.Methods From January 2020 to January 2023,60 patients with urinary retention after spinal cord injury who were admitted to the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine,Yichun People's Hospital were selected as the research objects.According to random number table method,they were divided into a control group(30 cases)and a test group(30 cases).The control group was treated with intramuscular injection of neostigmine,and the experi-mental group was treated with heat-sensitive moxibustion combined with acupoint injection of neostigmine.The treatment effect,first urination time,maximum urination volume before and after treatment,residual urine volume,and urinary tract infection were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group,with a statistically significant difference(P＜0.05).The first urination time in the experimental group was shorter than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Before treatment,there were no statistically significant differences in maximum urination volume and residual urine volume between the two groups(P＞0.05).After treatment,the maximum urination volume of the two groups was higher than before treatment,and the residual urine volume was lower than before treatment,and the maximum urination volume of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group,and the residual urine volume was lower than that of the control group,with a statisti-cally significant difference(P＜0.05).The incidence of urinary tract infections in the experimental group was lower than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion In the treatment of urinary reten-tion after spinal cord injury,the combination of heat sensitive moxibustion and neostigmine acupoint injection can achieve better results,reduce the time of first urination,residual urine volume and the incidence of urinary tract infection,and in-crease the maximum urine volume,which is of great significance.
