Application effect of meticulous nursing in young patients with patent foramen ovale closure during perioperative period
Objective To explore the application effect of meticulous nursing in young patients with patent foramen ovale(PFO)closure during perioperative period.Methods A total of 60 young patients with PFO closure admitted to Ganzhou People's Hospital from September 2020 to September 2022 were selected and divided into control group and observation group according to the random number table method,with 30 cases in each group.The control group was given routine nurs-ing,and the observation group was given meticulous nursing on the basis of the control group.Before and after nursing,the psychological status(self-rating anxiety scale[SAS],self-rating depression scale[SDS])of the two groups were compared.The changes of heart rate(HR),systolic blood pressure(SBP)and diastolic blood pressure(DBP)were compared between the two groups before and on the day of operation.The operation time,the time of puncture and catheter placement,and the number of calls to nurses within 24 hours after operation were compared between the two groups.And the nursing satisfac-tion of the two groups was compared.Results After 1 week of nursing,the SAS and SDS scores of the two groups were lower than those before nursing,and the scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group,and the differ-ences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).On the day of operation,HR of the two groups were faster than those before operation,SBP and DBP were higher than those before operation,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).However,the HR of the observation group on the day of operation was slower than that of the control group,and the SBP and DBP were lower than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).The operation time and catheterization time of the observation group were shorter than those of the control group,the average number of calls to nurses 24 hours after operation was less than that of the control group,and the total nursing satisfaction was higher than that of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion The application of meticulous nursing in patients with PFO closure can improve the adverse psychological status of patients,stabilize vital signs,shorten the operation time and improve patient satisfaction.
