Objective To establish an analytical method for the deter mination of six compositions in Polygonum cuspida-tumby quantitative analysis of multi-components by single marker and to verify the feasibility and accuracy of the method.Methods Emodin was used as internal standard,the relative correction factors(RCF)ofpolydatin,resveratrol,emodin-8-O-β-D-glucoside,physcion-8-O-β-D-glucoside and physcion was established,and the contents of other five com-ponents were calculated.The contents of six components in Polygonum cuspidatum from different origins calculated by this method,and the external standard method was used to determine the content of each component.The results obtainedwere compared with the measured values of external standard method.Results There was no significant difference between the results of the 6 active components of 9 batches of Polygonum cuspidatum from different origin and the results of external standard method,the six components showed a good linear relationship within a certain range,with average recovery rates ranging from 98.1％to 101.4％and RSDs ranging from 1.0％to 2.3％.Conclusion This method is simple and fast,and can be used to deter mine the content of sixcompositions in Polygonum cuspidatum.It can provide reference for quality control and extraction process evaluation of Polygonum cuspidatum.
