Effect of common gastric tube combined with intestinal obstruction catheter in the treatment of complex intestinal obstruction
Objective To investigate the clinical effect of common gastric tube combined with obstruction catheter in the treatment of complicated intestinal obstruction. Methods A total of 54 patients with complex ileus admitted to the Depart-ment of Gastrointestinal Surgery, the First People's Hospital of Chenzhou City from December 2020 to June 2023 were retrospectively collected as the study subjects.According to the different intervention measures, they were divided into 30 cases in the study group and 24 cases in the control group. The study group was treated with common gastric tube combined with intestinal obstruction catheter, and the control group was treated with intestinal obstruction catheter. The relief time of intestinal obstruction, conversion rate, complication rate, length of hospital stay and hospitalization cost were compared between the two groups. Results The treatment effective rate of the study group was higher than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The relief time and hospital stay of patients in the study group were shorter than those in the control group, and the hospitalization cost was less than that in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There were no statistically significant differences between the two groups in conversion surgery rate and complication rate(P>0.05).Conclusion The treatment effect of common gastric tube combined with na-so-intestinal obstruction catheter is better than that of simple intestinal obstruction catheter, which can significantly improve the symptoms of intestinal obstruction, shorten the hospitalization time, reduce the hospitalization cost and relieve the finan-cial burden of patients.
