Clinical effect of Desonide Cream combined with Recombinant Bovine Basic Fibroblast Growth Factor in the treatment of irritable diaper der-matitis in infants and young children
Objective To evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of Desonide Cream in combination with Recombinant Bovine Basic Fibroblast Growth Factor(rb-bFGF)in the treatment of irritable diaper dermatitis in infants and young children.Methods A total of 83 children with diaper dermatitis admitted to the Outpatient Department of Dermatology,Ganzhou Women and Children's Health Care Hospital from January 2020 to June 2021 were selected as subjects of the study.They were divided into treatment group(42 cases)and control group(41 cases)by random number table method.Treatment group was applied rb-bFGF gel to the affected area and then applied Desonide Cream after local drying,control group was only washed with clean water and applied Desonide Cream after local drying.After 3,7 and 14 days of treatment,the curative effect,healing time,adverse reactions and recurrence of the two groups were compared.Results There was no significant difference in the severity index between the two groups before treatment(P＞0.05).There was no significant dif-ference in the total effective rate between the two groups(P＞0.05).The therapeutic effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).The cure time of the treatment group was shorter than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).There was no significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P＞0.05).There was no significant difference in recurrence rate between the two groups(P＞0.05).Conclusion Desonide Cream combined with rb-bFGF gel is safe and effective in the treatment of irritant diaper dermatitis in infants and young children,with a low recurrence rate and few adverse reactions,which is applicable for clinical application.
