Clinical effect of different courses of hyperbaric oxygen therapy on pa-tients with craniocerebral injury
Objective To observe the therapeutic effect of different courses of hyperbaric oxygen therapy on patients with craniocerebral injury. Methods A total of 80 patients with craniocerebral injury admitted to Yidu Central Hospital Affiliated to Shandong Second Medical University from May 2019 to November 2021 were selected as research objects, and they were divided into experimental group(40 cases)and control group(40 cases)according to random numbertable method. On the basis of conventional treatment, the experimental group was treated with hyperbaric oxygen for 60 times in 4 courses and the control group was treated with hyperbaric oxygen for 30 times in 2 courses. After 80 days of comprehensive treatment, the clinical total response rate,National Institutes of Health stroke scale score(NIHSS)and activity of daily living scale(ADL)score of the two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate of experimental group was higher than that of control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).The NIHSS score of the experimental group was lower than that of the control group after treatment, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),and the ADL score was higher than that of the control group, with statistical significance(P<0.01).Conclusion Long course(>30 times)of hyperbaric oxygen therapy can more effectively improve the neurolog-ical function and daily living ability of the patients with head injury, which is worthy of clinical promotion.
