Clinical observation on the treatment of diabetic gastroparesis by transcu-tanclus electrical acupoint stimulation
Objective To observe the clinical effect of transcutanclus electrical acupoint stimulation(TEAS)on diabetic gastroparesis(DGP).Methods A total of 90 patients with DGP treated in the Second Affiliated Hospital of Nanchang Uni-versity from June 2020 to March 2022 were selected as research subjects, and they were divided into control group, acupuncture group and TEAS group by random number table method, with 30 cases in each group. The control group was treated with conventional symptomatic treatment. On the basis of control group, the acupuncture group was treated with acupuncture, and the TEAS group was treated with TEAS.Abdominal distension score, nausea and vomiting score and gas-trointestinal hormone level were compared among the three groups. Results At 1,2 and 4 weeks of treatment, the abdominal distension score, nausea and vomiting score of TEAS group were lower than those of acupuncture group and control group, and there were statistically significant differences(P<0.05).After treatment, the gastrin(GAS)and motilin(MTL)in TEAS group were lower than those in acupuncture group and control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusion TEAS has a good effect on patients with DGP,which is beneficial to relieve the symptoms of abdominal disten-sion,nausea and vomiting, reduce the levels of GAS and MTL,and regulate the levels of gastrointestinal hormones.
