Application effect of breast tissue location-based marker clip in neoadjuvant chemotherapy for breast cancer
Objective To investigate the application effect of breast tissue location-based marker clip in neoadjuvant chemotherapy for breast cancer.Methods Sixty patients with neoadjuvant chemotherapy for breast cancer admitted to the Breast Department of the First People's Hospital of Jiujiang from August 2020 to August 2022 were selected as the study objects.According to the random number table method,the patients were divided into the control group(30 cases)and the experimental group(30 cases).In the control group,preoperative guide wire was performed to position breast lesions after neoadjuvant chemotherapy.In the experimental group,breast tissue localization marker clips were placed before neoadjuvant chemotherapy,and after completion of lesion localization,surgeons in the same treatment group performed surgical treatment.The rate of breast-conserving operation,the negative rate of breast-conserving incision margin,the rate of sentinel lymph node biopsy and the accuracy rate of pathological evaluation were compared between the two groups.Meanwhile,the retention time of drainage tube,the length of hospital stay and the hospitalization cost were compared between the two groups.Results The breast-preserving operation rate,breast-preserving incising margin negative rate,sentinel lymph node biopsy rate and pathological evaluation accuracy rate of experimental group were higher than those of control group,the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).The operation time,drainage tube retention time and hospitalization time of experimental group were shorter than those of control group,and the hospitalization cost was lower than that of control group,the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion The application of breast tissue location marker clip in neoadjuvant chemotherapy for breast cancer can accurately locate the primary breast focus and axillary metastatic lymph nodes,improve the prognosis of breast cancer patients,and obtain good social and economic benefits,which is worthy of clinical application and promotion.
