Status investigation of the nursing risk cognition of teachers and interns
Objective To explore and analyze the status and reasons of nursing risk cognition in teachers and interns in order to provide a basis for nursing risk education and training.Methods A self-designed and prepared assessment form of nursing risk was applied,62 clinical teachers and 86 interns were investigated by testing awareness of nursing risk among in Ningbo No.2 Hospital from February 1 to March 31,2023.Results In the teachers group,scores of bachelor degree,chief nurse and teaching time over 20 years were higher than other educations,professional titles and teaching years group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).No significant differences were showed in different age group and work time group(P>0.05).In the interns group,the male interns scored higher than female interns,and the score of the group over 20 years was higher than 20 years and below,bachelor degree was higher than college level,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).30.23%of interns and 17.74%of teachers understood knowledge of medical law.53.49%of interns and 90.32%of teachers understood the content of nursing adverse event system.40.70%of interns and 17.74%of teachers had a sense of security in hospital work.Conclusion Nursing risk cognitive levels in teachers and interns are relatively low.Score of teachers'cognition of nursing rules and regulations is higher than that of interns.Scores of cognition of medical law and work security in interns are higher than those of clinical teachers.Awareness of risk management is poor in both groups.The nursing administrators in hospitals and colleges should improve the training on cognition,identification and processing ability of nursing risks.
