Research progress on self-management of hypertension patients in rural areas
Hypertension is a major preventable risk factor for cardiovascular disease and all-cause death, and an important risk factor for a variety of diseases such as myocardial infarction and stroke, causing a heavy burden to patients, their fami-lies and even society. In China, the blood pressure control rate of hypertension patients is low,and in rural areas with rela-tively backward medical resources, the blood pressure control rate is not ideal. Therefore, improving the self-management status of hypertension patients in rural areas of China is particularly important to achieve the strategic goal of"healthy Chi-na".With the rapid development of Internet information technology and the wide application of smart phones, the application of mobile medical services based on"Internet+"has become increasingly widespread.More and more scholars have begun to explore the new management model of"Internet+"or artificial intelligence integrating traditional chronic disease man-agement,so as to improve the self-management level of hypertension patients in rural areas. This paper aims to review the schemes of hypertension self-management by means of"Internet+"or artificial intelligence in recent years,in order to pro-vide a reference for improving the digital information management system of chronic diseases in China,so as to further im-prove the self-management level of hypertension patients in rural areas.
