Effects of rectal instillation of flavored Yinchenhao Decoction on liver function and inflammatory indexes in the treatment of hepatobiliary hu-mid fever jaundice
Objective To investigate the clinical effect of rectal instillation of flavored Yinchenhao Decoction in hepatobil-iary moist jaundice,and to analyze the effects of this treatment on liver function and inflammatory indexes.Methods A total of 80 patients diagnosed with hepatobiliary humid fever jaundice in Jiujiang Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2022 to February 2023 were grouped according to different treatment regimens,each group was 40 cases,among which the control group was given symptomatic treatment such as choleretic and yellowing,hepatoprotective and anti-in-flammatory,nutritional support,etc.,and the treatment group was treated with rectal instillation with flavored Yinchenhao Decoction,and the clinical efficacy and liver function,traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)dialectical score and inflammato-ry indexes before and after treatment were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was higher than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Af-ter treatment,the scores of TCM syndrome(jaundice,fever,nausea and vomiting,dry stool,dry mouth and nerdness)and the levels of inflammatory indicators hypersensitive C-reactive protein(hs-CRP),tumor necrosis factor α(TNF-α)and inter-leukin-6(IL-6)in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,and the total bilirubin(TBil),direct bilirubin(DBil),alanine aminotransferase(ALT),aspartate aminotransferase(AST),glutamyl transpeptidase(GGT)and al-kaline phosphatase(ALP)were lower compared with the pre-treatment,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).The TBil,DBil and GGT in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion The treatment method of rectal infusion of flavored Yinchenhao Decoc-tion can effectively improve the liver function of patients with hepatobiliary humid fever jaundice,reduce their inflammatory response,have good therapeutic effect,and provide more effective treatment methods for clinical practice.
