Clinical study of vacuum-assisted breast minimally invasive circumferen-tial system combined with liposuction in the treatment of Simon type Ⅱgynecomastia
Objective To investigate the clinical effect of vacuum-assisted breast minimally invasive circumferential system combined with liposuction in the treatment of Simon Ⅱ type gynecomastia.Methods A total of 46 patients with gynecomas-tia Simon Ⅱ treated in Shangrao People's Hospital from February 2019 to August 2021 were selected as the study objects,and were divided into group A(23 cases)and group B(23 cases)according to random number table method.Group A was treated with open surgery,and group B was treated with vacuum-assisted minimally invasive breast rotation system com-bined with liposuction,and both groups were followed up for 1.5 years.Surgery-related indicators,pain level 1 week after surgery,aesthetic evaluation after follow-up,overall satisfaction,and complications before follow-up were compared be-tween the two groups.Results The operation time and incision length of the group B were shorter than those of the group A,the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).1 week after surgery,the pain degree of the group B was less than that of the group A,the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).After follow-up,breast appearance,breast symmetry,shape and symmetry of nipple and areola complex,visible scar score of the group B were lower than those of the group A,the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).During the follow-up period,the total complication rate of the group B was lower than that of the group A,the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).After follow-up,the chest appear-ance,wound scar hyperplasia,skin and nipple and areola sensory satisfaction scores of the group B were higher than those of the group A,the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion The combination of vacuum-assisted breast minimally invasive circumferential system combined with liposuction in the treatment of Simon type Ⅱ gynecomastia is ben-eficial to optimize surgical indicators,reduce the degree of pain,promote postoperative chest appearance,improve overall satisfaction,and high safety.
