Objective To explore and analyze the relevant influencing factors of postoperative urinary retention in patients with mixed hemorrhoids. Methods The clinical data of 315 patients with mixed hemorrhoids admitted to the Affiliated Peo-ple's Hospital of Fujian University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2022 to January 2023 were retrospectively analyzed.According to whether postoperative urinary retention occurred, the patients were divided into urinary retention group(72 cases)and normal urination group(243 cases). The relevant influencing factors of postoperative urinary retention were screened by univariate analysis and multivariate logistic regression analysis. Results The incidence of postoperative urinary retention was 22.9%.Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that previous history of benign prostatic hyperplasia(OR=8.028,95%CI=2.564-17.328.P=0.007),intraspinal anesthesia(OR=1.487,95%CI=0.369-4.681,P=0.021),postop-erative pain(OR=2.659,95%CI=1.014-6.811,P=0.017)were independent risk factors for urinary retention after mixed hemorrhoids;acupuncture treatment(OR=0.469,95%CI=0.089-0.957,P=0.0 10)was the protective factor for urinary reten-tion after mixed hemorrhoids. Conclusion Through the identification of patients with related risk factors,it can provide a good reference for the selection of clinical personalized treatment of mixed hemorrhoids and effective intervention of complications, reduce the incidence of postoperative urinary retention.
