Study of the mechanism of Xianfang Huoming Decoction in repairing the DNA fragmentation index in infertile patients based on the theory of tur-bid pathogen
Objective To explore the mechanism of Xianfang Huoming Decoction in repairing the DNA fragmentation index(DFI)in infertile patients based on the theory of turbid pathogen.Methods A total of 94 male infertility patients with high sperm DFI admitted to the Reproductive Andrology Clinic of Nanchang Reproductive Hospital from September 2021 to De-cember 2022 were selected as the research objects.They were divided into observation group(51 cases)and control group(43 cases)by coin toss method.The observation group was treated with Xianfang Huoming Decoction plus or minus tradi-tional Chinese medicine paste,the control group was treated with Levocarnitine Oral Solution,two groups were treated for 3 months,and the sperm DFI level,forward motile sperm viability,total sperm viability and traditional Chinese medicine symptom score of the two groups were observed after treatment.Results The DFI index of the observation group was lower than that of the control group after treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).The forward motility sperm viability and total sperm viability in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,and the tradi-tional Chinese medicine symptom score was lower than that in the control group,with statistical significances(P＜0.05).Conclusion Xianfang Huoming Decoction can effectively improve the forward motile sperm viability,total viability,repair sperm DFI,relieve the symptoms of traditional Chinese medicine,and provide a new therapeutic idea for the clinical treat-ment of male infertility.
