Effect of health education combined with psychological intervention based on the theory of information-motivation-behavioral skills on the rehabili-tation of patients with liver cancer after interventional therapy
Objective To analyze and explore effect of health education combined with psychological intervention based on information-motivation-behavioral skill model(IMB)theory on rehabilitation of patients with liver cancer after interventional therapy. Methods A total of 80 patients with liver cancer undergoing interventional therapy in Department of Oncology, the First Affiliated Hospital of Nanchang University were selected from October 2021 to October 2022.According to random number table method, they were divided into control group and observation group, with 40 cases in each group. Both groups were intervened for 16 weeks. The scores of self-efficacy,anxiety,depression and quality of life in the two groups were ob-served and compared before and after intervention. Results After 16 weeks of intervention, scores of self-efficacy(positive attitude, stress relief,self-decision)in observation group were higher than those in control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).The scores of self-rating anxiety scale(SAS)and self-rating depression scale(SDS)in observation group were lower than those in control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).The quality of life scores in observation group were higher than those in control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Con-clusion Health education combined with psychological intervention based on IMB theory can relieve negative emotions and improve quality of life in patients with liver cancer after interventional therapy.
