Effect of inspiratory muscle training combined with Tiotropium Bromide Powder on stage Ⅱ pneumoconiosis
Objective To investigate the effect of inspiratory muscle training combined with Tiotropium Bromide Powder aerosol on stage Ⅱ pneumoconiosis. Methods A total of 80 patients with pneumoconiosis treated in Ganzhou Fifth People's Hospital from June 2022 to May 2023 were selected as the study objects, they were divided into control group(n=40)and combination group(n=40)according to random number table method. The control group was treated with Tiotropium Bro-mide Powder and the combined group was treated with inspiratory muscle training on the basis of control group. The pul-monary function, quality of life score and safety before and after treatment were compared between the two groups. Results Before treatment, there were no statistically significant differences between the two groups in terms of maximum ventilatory volume(MVV),total lung capacity(TLC),forced expiratory volume in 1 s(FEV1),forced vital capacity(FVC),FEV1/FVC and diffusion capacity for carbon monoxide of the lung(DLCo)(P>0.05).After treatment, the MVV,TLC,FEV1,FVC,FEV1/FVC and DLCo of the two groups were higher than those before treatment, and the MVV,TLC,FEV1,FVC,FEV1/FVC and DLCo of the combined group were higher than those of the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of diaphragm thickness at end-inspiration(DTei),diaphragm thickening fraction(DTF)and diaphragmatic mobility were higher than those before treatment, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the level of DTei,DTF and diaphragm movement in combination group were higher than those in control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the scores of respiratory symp-toms,influence on daily life, activity restriction and quality of life of the two groups were lower than those before treat-ment,and the score of combined group was lower than that of control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion The combined treatment of inspiratory muscle training and Tiotropium Bromide Powder can significantly im-prove pulmonary function, diaphragmatic motor function and quality of life of patients with stage Ⅱ pneumoconiosis, with few adverse reactions and excellent therapeutic effect.
