Analysis of the use of antidepressants in patients with mild to moderate depressive disorders
Objective To analyze the use of antidepressants in patients with mild to moderate depressive disorders.Meth-ods A retrospective analysis was conducted on 562 patients with mild to moderate depressive disorder who visited outpatient clinics at Wuxi Mental Health Center and Yixing Fifth People's Hospital from January 2021 to December 2021.The use of antidepressants was analyzed using defined daily dose(DDD),frequency of drug use(DDDs),and drug utilization index(DUI).The clinical efficacy was evaluated using the Hamilton depression scale(HAMD-24)score,and the occurrence of adverse reactions during the medication period was observed.Results Among the 9 antidepressant drugs used in outpatient treatment for mild to moderate depressive disorders,5 drugs(sertraline,duloxetine,clomipramine,citalopram,venlafaxine)were used beyond DDD.The most common treatment was the combination of antidepressants and sedative hypnotics(346 cases,61.57%).The therapeutic effect was more significant after single or combination therapy,and the total incidence of adverse reactions in each group was 13.11%,20.69%,13.01%,25.51%and 28.57%,with no statistically significant dif-ference(P>0.05).Conclusion The use of antidepressants in outpatients with mild to moderate depressive disorder is effec-tive,and antidepressants combined with sedative and hypnotic drugs are the most common treatment.Some drugs are used beyond DDD.Attention should be paid to the side effects of Joint and combined drugs to ensure drug safety.
