Analysis of diagnostic value of audiovisual sexual stimulation for erectile dysfunction
Objective To analyze the value of audiovisual sexual stimulation(AVSS)for erectile dysfunction(ED).Methods A total of 67 patients with suspected ED admitted to Department of Urology and Andrology,ShangRao People's Hospital from January 2021 to June 2022 were selected as the study subjects. All patients underwent AVSS,nocturnal penile tumescence and rigidity(NPTR)was used as the gold standard. The detection rates of AVSS and NPTR in the differential diagnosis of different types of erectile dysfunction were compared. The sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value, negative predictive value, accuracy and Kappa value of AVSS were recorded. The test time and cost of the two methods were compared. Results NRTR diagnosed 27 cases of organic ED and 40 cases of psychological ED.AVSS diagnosed 28 cases of organic ED and misdiagnosed 2 cases,39 cases of psychological ED and misdiagnosed 1 case. The accuracy of AVSS in the diagnosis of ED was 95.52%,and AUC was 0.912,and the consistency between AVSS and NPTR in the diagnosis of organic ED was good(Kappa=0.908,P<0.05).The test time and cost of AVSS were lower than those of NPTR,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion AVSS can be used as a primary screening method, which is economical, convenient, and rapid, and is worthy of clinical promotion.
