Clinical effect of proximal femoral nail antirotation in the treatment of se-nile intertrochanteric fracture of femur in multidisciplinary treatment mode
Objective To investigate the clinical effect of proximal femoral nail antirotation(PFNA)in the treatment of se-nile intertrochanteric fracture of femur(IFF)by multidisciplinary treatment(MDT)mode. Methods A total of 84 IFF patients admitted to Yangjiang High-tech Industrial Development Zone People's Hospital from February 2022 to February 2023 were selected as research objects, and they were divided into control group(42 cases)and observation group(42 cases)according to random number table method. The control group was treated with traditional orthopedic treatment mode, and the observa-tion group was treated with MDT mode. The clinical indexes, hip function, postoperative recovery and complications were compared between the two groups. Results The preoperative waiting time, hospital stay and fracture healing time in the ob-servation group were shorter than those in the control group, the Harris score and quality of recovery-40(QoR-40)score were higher than those in the control group, and the total incidence of complications was lower than that in the control group, with statistical significances(P<0.05).Conclusion Senile IFF patients treated with PFNA under MDT mode have shorter preoperative waiting time, faster postoperative recovery and good hip function recovery, which can reduce the occurrence of complications and improve the postoperative recovery effect.
