Objective To explore the application practice of one-stop pre-hospitalization service model in patients with tumor chemotherapy. Methods A total of 180 patients with malignant tumor chemotherapy admitted to the Department of Oncology,Jiangxi Provincial People's Hospital from January to June 2023 were selected as the study objects, and they were divided into control group(90 cases)and observation group(90 cases)according to random number table method. The control group underwent admission procedures by routine method, and the observation group underwent admission procedures by one-stop pre-admission method. The time spent in admission procedures, the time to complete the examination before treatment, the hospital stay, the cost of hospitalization, the nursing time spent by nurses in the ward to receive the newly admitted patients, the number of trips between the ward and the examination department and the satisfaction of patients were compared between the two groups. Results The time spent in admission procedures, the time to complete the examination before treatment and hospital stay in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The cost of hospitalization in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The nursing time spent by nurses in the ward to receive the newly admitted patients in observation group was shorter than that in control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The number of trips between the ward and the examination department in the observation group was less than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The satisfaction rate of observation group was 95.56%after hospitalization, which was higher than 87.78%of control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The one-stop pre-hospitalization service model can effectively shorten the time for patients to go through admission procedures, shorten the time for completing examinations before treatment and hospital stay, reduce hospitalization costs, shorten the nursing time for ward nurses to receive newly admitted patients, reduce the number of trips between ward and examination departments, and improve patient satisfaction, which is worthy of further promotion in clinical practice.
