Effect of Sini Decoction combined with Venlafaxine Hydrochloride in the treatment of refractory depression and its effect on monoamine neuro-transmitters in brain
Objective To explore the efficacy of Sini Decoction combined with Venlafaxine Hydrochloride in treating treat-ment-resistant depression and its impact on monoamine neurotransmitters in the brain.Methods A total of 120 outpatients and inpatients admitted to Inner Mongolia Hospital Beijing Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2020 to August 2023 were selected as research objects,and they were divided into study group(60 cases)and control group(60 cas-es)according to random number table method,22 cases were dropped during the study,and 50 cases were in the final study group and 48 cases in the control group.The study group was treated with Sini Decoction combined with Venlafaxine Hy-drochloride Sustained-release Capsules,while the control group was treated with Venlafaxine Hydrochloride Sustained-re-lease Capsules alone.The score of Hamilton depression scale(HAMD)and the occurrence of adverse reactions during treat-ment were compared between the two groups,and the changes of neurotransmitter power in the brain were measured by brain fluctuation map.Results The HAMD scores of the treatment group after 4 and 6 weeks were lower than those of the control group,and the recovery rate was higher than that of the control group,with statistically significant differences(P＜0.05).Af-ter 6 weeks of treatment,the power of 5-hydroxytryptamine(5-HT)and norepinephrine(NE)in the treatment group were higher than those in the control group,with statistically significant differences(P＜0.05).The total incidence of adverse re-actions in the treatment group was lower than that in the control group,and this difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion Sini Decoction combined with Venlafaxine Hydrochloride Sustained-release Capsules has advantages in the treatment of refractory depression,high safety,and causes more obvious changes in brain neurotransmitters.
