Clinical effect of Huangqi Guizhi Wuwu Decoction combined with thun-der-fire moxibustion in the treatment of type 2 diabetic peripheral neu-ropathy
Objective To observe the clinical effect of Huangqi Guizhi Wuwu Decoction combined with thunder-fire moxi-bustion on type 2 diabetic peripheral neuropathy(DPN).Methods A total of 70 patients with type 2 DPN admitted to the Second Affiliated Hospital of Jiangxi University of CM from November 2021 to January 2023 were selected as the study ob-jects,and they were divided into control group(35 cases)and treatment group(35 cases)according to random number table method.The control group was treated with Mecobalamin Tablets,and the treatment group was treated with Huangqi Guizhi Wuwu Decoction combined with thunder-fire moxibustion.Two groups were treated for 8 weeks.The clinical efficacy,tradi-tional Chinese medicine syndrome score,C-peptide level and hemorheology indexes were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate of treatment group was higher than that of control group,the difference was statistically sig-nificant(P＜0.05).The traditional Chinese medicine symptom scores such as hand and foot numbness,limb pain and limb weakness in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group after treatment,and the differences were statisti-cally significant(P＜0.05).The levels of fasting C-peptide(FC-P)and 2-hour postprandial C-peptide(2 h C-P)in two groups after treatment were higher than those before treatment,and the levels of FC-P and 2 h C-P in treatment group were higher than those in control group,with statistical significances(P＜0.05).After treatment,the plasma viscosity,fibrinogen and hematocrit in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically sig-nificant(P＜0.05).Conclusion Huangqi Guizhi Wuwu Decoction combined with thunder-fire moxibustion can improve the clinical effect,reduce the clinical symptoms,increase the level of C-peptide and improve the hemorheology of DPN patients.
