Effect of solution focused approach on job burnout of emergency center dispatchers
Objective To explore the effect of solution focused approach on job burnout of emergency center dispatchers.Methods The method of self-control before and after was used,a total of 32 emergency dispatchers working in Nanchang E-mergency Center from August 2021 to August 2022 were selected as the research objects.The effect of the implementation of solution focused approach on the job burnout of dispatchers was observed,and the assessment of negative emotional state and the degree of job burnout were evaluated.Results A total of 28 dispatchers had anxiety,including 22 with mild anxiety,5 with moderate anxiety,and 1 with severe anxiety,with mild anxiety accounting for the majority.There were 20 dispatchers with depression,of which 17 were mild depression,3 were moderate depression,and mild depression accounted for the ma-jority.The dispatcher's scores of emotional exhaustion,depersonalization and personal lack of accomplishment after 12 weeks of intervention were lower than those before intervention,and the scores of depersonalization and personal lack of accom-plishment after 4 and 8 weeks of intervention were lower than those before intervention,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The personal sense of accomplishment score of dispatchers with mild and moderate bad emotional state was lower than that before intervention,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Solution focused approach can adjust the negative emotional state of dispatcers,improve personal sense of achievement,so as to im-prove work efficiency and reduce job burnout.
