It is very important to develop inter-disciplinary talents with professional skills and proficiency in English,as well as the cultural confidence of Chinese medicine,in order to promote the development and spread of Chinese medicine and acupuncture in the medical world and international community,this article delves into the insufficient focus on cultural elements in the education of acupuncture for foreign affairs and discusses the profound significance of integrating Chinese medical culture into English instruction for international acupuncture studies.We've combined Chinese medicine culture with the five core competencies of listening,speaking,reading,writing,and translating in English,forming a"five-in-one"comprehensive teaching model.This model has been applied to the education of foreign-related postgraduates and elite eight-year programs.Its aim is to holistically enhance students'professional abilities and cultural confidence in acupuncture English,providing valuable insights for the training strategy of talents in foreign-related acupuncture.
