Application effect of home visit in patients with diabetic foot after dis-charge
Objective To explore the application effect of home visit in diabetic foot patients after discharge. Methods A total of 100 cases of diabetic foot patients discharged from the Department of Endocrine of Ganzhou City People's Hospital of Jiangxi Province from January to December 2022 were selected as the study objects, and they were divided into control group and intervention group according to random number table method, with 50 cases in each group. The control group was given routine telephone and outpatient follow-up after discharge from the hospital, while the intervention group received the home visiting intervention method on the basis of the control group. The foot ulcer healing time, healing rate, recurrence rate, treatment satisfaction, negative emotions(self-rating anxiety scale[SAS]and self-rating depression scale[SDS])were com-pared between the two groups. Results The ulcer healing time of the intervention group was shorter than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in ulcer healing rate between the two groups(P>0.05).The recurrence rate of intervention group was lower than that of control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The treatment satisfaction of the intervention group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Before intervention, there were no statistically significant differences in SAS and SDS scores between the two groups(P>0.05).After intervention, the SAS and SDS scores of the two groups were lower than those before intervention, and the SAS and SDS scores of the inter-vention group were lower than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Con-clusion Home visits can significantly improve the return of diabetic foot patients, promote faster healing of ulcers, reduce the recurrence rate, enhance patient treatment satisfaction and reduce the negative emotions of patients.
