Application effect of massage combined with Bobath therapy in rehabilita-tion treatment of children with motor developmental delay
Objective To observe the effect of massage combined with Bobath therapy in rehabilitation treatment of motor retardation in children.Methods Thirty children with motor retarding who were admitted to the Department of Child Healthcare,Zhaoqing Second People's Hospital from January 2022 to July 2023 were selected as the study group and treated with massage combined with Bobath therapy.Thirty children from January 2019 to December 2021 were selected as the control group,and only Bobath therapy was used.The development quotient of five areas and the therapeutic effect of the two groups were compared before and after treatment.Results After treatment,the five regional development quotient(gross mo-tor,fine motor,language,adaptive ability and social ability)of the two groups were higher than before treatment,and the fine motor,language,adaptive ability and social ability scores of study group were higher than the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).There was no significant difference in the total effective rate between the two groups(P＞0.05).However,the treatment effect of the study group was better than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion The combination of massage and Bobath therapy has advantages over simple Bobath therapy in the rehabilitation of language,adaptability,and social skills in children with motor developmental delay,and is worthy of clinical application and grassroots technology promotion.
