Analysis of spiritual health level and related influencing factors in elderly patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease
Objective To analyze the level of spiritual health and its influencing factors in elderly patients with chronic ob-structive pulmonary disease(COPD).Methods A total of 104 elderly patients with COPD admitted to Jiujiang Third People's Hospital from August 2021 to December 2022 were selected as the research objects.The functional assessment of chronic i-linetherapy-spiritual(FACIT-SP-12)was used to evaluate the status of spiritual health of patients,and FACIT-SP-12 scores of COPD patients with different characteristics were compared.Multiple linear regression analysis was used to test the related factors affecting the level of spiritual health in elderly patients with COPD.Results The FACIT-SP-12 score of 104 COPD patients was(26.78±5.43)points.There were statistically significant differences in FACIT-SP-12 scores among el-derly COPD patients with different family per capita monthly income,social support,psychological resilience and symptom burden(P<0.05).The results of multiple linear regression analysis showed that low family monthly income per capita,low social support,low psychological resilience and heavy symptom burden were the factors affecting the spiritual health of el-derly patients with COPD(β=-0.547,-0.304,-0.429,-0.542;95%CI:-9.838-5.291,-7.559--1.805,-7.889--3.273,-9.106-4.853;t=-6.600,-3.228,-4.797,-6.510;P<0.05).Conclusion The spiritual health of elderly patients with COPD is at a medium level and is affected by factors such as low family per capita monthly income,low social support,low psychological resilience and heavy symptom burden.
