Application effect of enhanced recovery after surgery in the treatment of thoracolumbar vertebral fractures treated with minimally invasive common pedicle screws internal fixation by the guide chunnel with self-designed assistance
Objective To explore the application effect of enhanced recovery after surgery care in the treatment of thoracolumbar spine fractures by minimally invasive pedicle screw implantation with self-made guided channels.Methods Sixty-four patients with thoracolumbar compression fractures admitted to the 184th Hospital of the Chinese People's Liberation Army from July 2013 to December 2021 were selected as the study objects,and were divided into observation group and control group by random number table method,with 32 cases in each group.Both groups were treated with minimally invasive pedicle screw implantation using self-made guided channels.The observation group used the enhanced recovery after surgery care protocol and the control group used the conventional care protocol.Postoperative infusion time,bed activity time,length of stay,patient quality of life assessment and nursing satisfaction were observed and compared between the two groups.Results The time to bed activity,infusion time and hospital stay in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group,with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).The scores of the comprehensive quality of life assessment questionnaire(GQOLI-74)and nursing satisfaction scores of the observation group were higher than those of the control group,with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of rapid rehabilitation surgical care in the treatment of thoracolumbar fractures by minimally invasive pedicle screw implantation with self-made guided channels is safe and effective,shortens the hospital stay,increases patient satisfaction,improves patients'quality of life,and can better promote early recovery of patients.
