Effect of vitamin B1 combined with rhubarb powder enema on relieving abdominal distension after cesarean section
Objective To investigate the effect of vitamin B1 combined with rhubarb powder enema on postoperative ab-dominal distension in patients undergoing cesarean section.Methods From January to December 2021,86 cases of postpar-tum women who underwent cesarean section in the Department of Obstetrics,Ganzhou Maternal and Child Health Hospital were selected as the study subjects.They were divided into control group and observation group,with 43 cases in each group using random number table method.The control group was treated with vitamin B1,while the observation group was treated with vitamin B1 combined with rhubarb powder enema.The time indicators,total treatment efficiency,degree of abdominal distension,and pain scores of the two groups of patients were compared.Results The first anal exhaust time,the first post-operative defecation time,the duration of abdominal distension and the recovery time of intestinal sound in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).The total ef-fective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).The degree of abdominal distension in the observation group was less than that in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).The pain score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).The quality of life scores of the two groups after treatment were higher than those before treatment,the quality of life scores after treatment in observation group were higher than that in control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion The application of vitamin B1 combined with rhubarb powder enema in the treatment of patients after cesarean section has a significant therapeutic effect,which can ef-fectively alleviate abdominal distension,alleviate pain,accelerate recovery,and optimize prognosis.
