Objective To investigate the clinical effect of glucocorticoid combined with Eucalyptol,Limonene and Pinene Enteric Soft Capsules in the treatment of secretory otitis media.Methods From January 2021 to February 2023,a total of 80 patients with secretory otitis media in Ganzhou Women and Children's Health Care Hospital were selected as the re-search objects.According to the random number table method,they were divided into the control group(40 cases)and the observation group(40 cases).The control group was treated with glucocorticoid,and the observation group was treated with glucocorticoid combined with Eucalyptol,Limonene and Pinene Enteric Soft Capsules.The total effective rate of treatment,tympanic pressure,speech frequency air conduction hearing threshold,symptom and sign scores and peripheral blood T lymphocyte subsets(CD3+,CD4+and CD8+)were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate of secre-tory otitis media in the observation group was higher than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically signif-icant(P＜0.05).Before treatment,there were no statistically significant differences in tympanic pressure,speech frequency air conduction hearing threshold,symptom and sign scores and peripheral blood T lymphocyte subsets between the two groups(P＞0.05).After 2 weeks of treatment,the tympanic pressure,speech frequency air conduction hearing threshold,symptom and sign scores of the two groups were lower than those before treatment,and the tympanic pressure,speech fre-quency air conduction hearing threshold,symptom and sign scores and CD8+of the observation group were lower than those of the control group,CD3+and CD4+were higher than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically signif-icant(P＜0.05).Conclusion Glucocorticoid combined with Eucalyptol,Limonene and Pinene Enteric Soft Capsules has a good clinical effect in the treatment of patients with secretory otitis media,which can significantly improve the related symp-toms,signs and immune status of patients,and has a high application value in patients with secretory otitis media.
