Objective To investigate the clinical effect of Leflunomide combined with Cyclophosphamide in patients with lupus nephritis(LN).Methods A total of 84 LN patients admitted to Jiu Jiang NO.1 People's Hospital from April 2019 to April 2021 were selected as the study objects and they were divided into observation group(42 cases)and control group(42 cases)by random number table method.Both groups were treated with Prednisone,the observation group was also treat-ed with Cyclophosphamide and Flunomide,and the control group was also treated with Cyclophosphamide.Both groups were treated continuously for 6 months.The clinical efficacy,renal function indexes,serum albumin and complement C3 levels were compared between the two groups,and adverse reactions were recorded.Results The total effective rate of the observa-tion group was higher than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).After treat-ment,the levels of blood urea nitrogen(BUN),serum creatinine(SCr)and 24 h urinary protein in observation group were lower than those in control group,and the levels of serum albumin and complement C3 were higher than those in control group,with statistically significant differences(P＜0.05).There was no significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P＞0.05).Conclusion Leflunomide combined with Cyclophosphamide is effective in the treatment of LN,which can effectively improve the levels of serum albumin and complement C3,promote the recovery of re-nal function,reduce renal damage,alleviate clinical symptoms and stabilize the disease,and is worthy of promotion and ap-plication.
