Clinical study of traditional Chinese medicine enema combined with Doxycycline and Metronidazole in the treatment of infertility patients with chronic endometritis
Objective To explore the therapeutic effect and assisted reproductive outcomes of traditional Chinese medicine enema combined with Doxycycline and Metronidazole on infertility patients with chronic endometritis(CE).Methods A total of 80 infertility patients with CE in Guangdong Provincial Maternity and Child Health Hospital from June 2021 to May 2022 were selected and divided into treatment group and control group by random number table method,with 40 cases in each group.The control group was treated with doxycycline and metronidazole,and the treatment group was treated with Chinese medicine enema on this basis.The curative effect before and after treatment were compared between the two groups.Results There were no statistically significant differences in the total clinical effective rate,endometrial morphology efficacy,preg-nancy outcome and Qi deficiency and fatigue score between the two groups(P＞0.05).After treatment,the lower abdominal pain score,scores of menstrual disorders,abnormal vaginal discharge,pale complexion,pulse depth,vascular resistance index(RI),and pulsatile index(PI)in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).In addition,the treatment group showed higher endometrial thickness,blood flow in-dex(FI),and endometrial pathological tissue efficacy than the control group after treatment,with statistically significant differences(P＜0.05).Conclusion Traditional Chinese medicine enema combined with Doxycycline and Metronidazole can effectively improve clinical efficacy,improve traditional Chinese medicine syndromes,and increase the success rate of assisted reproduction in patients with infertility caused by CE.
