Objective To explore the effectiveness analysis of applying the refined nursing management model to hospital infection control. Methods Inpatients and nursing staff from key departments(intensive care medicine, general surgery,car-diology,general medicine)with high infection rate were selected as the study objects. From January to March 2023,the pre intervention stage was set as a control group(1 850 inpatients and 62 nursing staff),and from April to June,a refined nursing management model was implemented as the observation group(1 880 inpatients and 62 nursing staff)during the post inter-vention stage. The monitoring indicators of nosocomial infection, the knowledge of nosocomial infection and the implementa-tion of hospital sense measures were analyzed and compared before and after the implementation of intensive nursing.Re-sults The incidence of nosocomial infection in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the etio-logical examination rate of hospitalized patients before treatment was higher than that in the control group, with statistical significances(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the detection rate of multi-drug resistant bacteria between the two groups(P>0.05).The rates of knowledge awareness, environmental cleaning and disinfection qualification, disinfection items management qualification and sterile items management qualification in observation group were higher than those in control group, with statistical significances(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in medical waste management be-tween the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Implementing a targeted and refined nursing management model in hospital infection management can significantly improve nursing quality, effectively control hospital infection.
