Application of nursing intervention based on information-motivation-be-havioral skill model in rehabilitation of patients undergoing arthroscopic rotator cuff repair surgery
Objective To explore the application effect of nursing intervention based on information-motivation-behavioral skill model(IMB)in rehabilitation of patients undergoing arthroscopic rotator cuff repair surgery. Methods A total of 116 patients receiving arthroscopic rotator cuff repair surgery from January 2022 to January 2023 in the Department of Orthopedics of Jiujiang NO.1 People's Hospital were selected as the research objects, and they were divided into experimen-tal group and control group according to random number table method, with 58 cases in each group. The control group received routine nursing, and the experimental group received IMB nursing on this basis.Visual analogue scale(VAS),shoulder joint function and the MOS item short form health survey(SF-36)scores were compared between the two groups, and functional exercise compliance was evaluated. Results After nursing,VAS score of experimental group was lower than that of control group, shoulder joint function and quality of life score were higher than those of control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The compliance of functional exercise in experimental group was higher than that in control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Nursing intervention based on IMB has superior intervention effect in the rehabilitation of patients with arthroscopic rotator cuff repair surgery, can improve the quality of life of patients, improve the prognosis, with high safety, and is a nursing intervention method worthy of widespread clinical promotion.
