Impact of evidence-based nursing model combined with peer support in-tervention on self-efficacy and quality of life in patients with acute my-ocardial infarction
Objective To explore the application effect of evidence-based nursing model combined with peer support inter-vention in patients with acute myocardial infarction(AMI).Methods A total of 172 AMI patients admitted to Liwan Central Hospital of Guangzhou from January 2021 to December 2022 were selected as the study subjects. They were divided into a control group(86 cases)and an observation group(86 cases)by a random number table method. The control group received routine care, while the observation group implemented an evidence-based nursing model combined with peer support intervention. Both groups continued to receive care until the patient was discharged. The nursing outcomes(psychological state,self-efficacy,quality of life, nursing satisfaction)were compared between the two groups. Results The scores of self-rating depression scale(SDS)and self-rating anxiety scale(SAS)in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the scores of general self-efficacy scale(GSES)were higher than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The scores of the MOS item short from health survey(SF-36)in the ob-servation group were higher than those in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The nursing satisfaction score of observation group was higher than that of control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The evidence-based nursing model combined with peer support intervention can alleviate the nega-tive emotions of AMI patients, effectively enhance their self-efficacy,improve their quality of life, and thus enhance patient satisfaction.
