Objective To observe the clinical effect of moxibustion combined with microwave in the treatment of tubercu-lous pleurisy(TP)patients with Yang deficiency and its influence on adenosine deaminase(ADA)and lactate dehydrogenase(LDH).Methods A total of 80 patients admitted to the tuberculosis Department of Shandong Public Health Clinical Center from January to December 2023 were selected as the study objects and divided into the Western medicine group(40 cases)and the traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)group(40 cases)using computer random number method.The Western medicine group was treated with oral quadruple anti-tuberculosis drugs,while the TCM group was treated with moxibustion and microwave.The pleural thickness,pleural effusion,ADA and LDH contents and clinical efficacy were compared before and after treatment.Results After treatment,the pleural thickness and pleural effusion in TCM group were lower than those in Western medicine group,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).ADA and LDH in TCM group were lower than those in Western group after treatment,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).The total ef-fective rate of TCM group was higher than that of Western group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion Du moxibustion combined with microwave in the treatment of tuberculous pleurisy patients with Yang deficien-cy constitution has definite clinical efficacy,which can be promoted as a green therapy of TCM.
