Objective To analyze the level of hope and related risk factors in patients with type 2 diabetes(T2DM).Meth-ods A total of 94 T2DM patients admitted to the First People's Hospital of Fuzhou from June 2021 to September 2022 were selected as the study objects.Herth hope index(HHI)was used to assess the patients'hope level,the general data question-naire and social support scale were used to evaluate,the HHI score of T2DM patients with different characteristics and social support were compared,the risk factors affecting hope level in T2DM patients were analyzed.Results The HHI score of 94 patients with T2DM was(33.65±4.58).There were statistically significant differences in HHI scores among different fami-lies with per capita monthly income,disease course,complications,social support and coping styles(P＜0.05).Multiple lin-ear regression analysis showed that low family per capita monthly income(t=3.948),long course of disease(t=3.124),com-plications(t=6.042),low social support(t=2.731)and negative coping disease(t=3.073)were the risk factors affecting hope level of T2DM patients(P＜0.05).Conclusion The hope level of T2DM patients is medium and affected by many risk fac-tors.Clinical attention should be paid to patients with risk factors,and early targeted nursing intervention should be actively carried out to improve the psychological state of patients,adjust their emotions and improve the hope level.
