Objective To explore the effect of standardized management of crash carts in the model of the National Regional Medical Center.Methods A total of 40 crash carts in Liuzhou Hospital of Guangzhou Women and Children's Medical Center were modified according to the standardized management model of first-aid medicine and special skill training was conducted for all medical staff in the hospital.The number of varieties,amount,proportion of reported drug loss,time of taking medicine and accuracy rate of the drug catalog in the crash carts were compared before(October 2022 to March 2023)and after(April to September 2023)the optimization.And the questionnaire was used to investigate whether the optimized drug varieties met the rescue needs.Results The time of taking medicine in the observation group was shorter than that in the control group,and the accurate rate of taking medicine in the observation group was higher than that in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference among different working years in the observation group(P>0.05),the optimized drug varieties met the rescue needs.Conclusion The standardized management model with the crash carts under the model of the National Regional Medical Center has remarkable effect,which is worth to be widely implemented.
