Objective To explore the comparison of the application effects of Phloroglucinol and Anisodamine in emergen-cy renal colic patients. Methods A total of 86 patients with renal colic admitted to the emergency department of Huazhong University of Science and Technology Shenzhen Hospital from March 2022 to September 2023 were selected as the study subjects. They were divided into control group(43 cases)and observation group(43 cases)by random number table method. The control group was treated with Sustained-Release Diclofenac Sodium Tablets and Anisodamine, while the study group was treated with Sustained-Release Diclofenac Sodium Tablets and Phloroglucinol. The clinical efficacy, pain severity(vi-sual analogue scale[VAS]score),pain relief time, analgesic onset time, incidence of adverse reactions, and 24-hour recur-rence rate were compared between two groups. Results The total effective rate of the research group was higher than that of the control group, and the differences was statistically significant(P<0.05).The VAS score of the study group after treat-ment was lower than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The pain relief time and analgesic effect time of the research group were shorter than those of the control group, and the differences were statisti-cally significant(P<0.05).The total incidence of adverse reactions in the study group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The 24-hour recurrence rate in the study group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion As a new type of anti-spasmodic and analgesic drug,Anisodamine has a faster onset of action, significant antispasmodic and analgesic effects, smaller side effects, higher safety, and clinical application value compared to Anisodamine.
