Objective To explore the application effect of acupoint thread embedding combined with disposable thread em-bedding needle sweeping in the treatment of simple obesity.Methods A total of 60 patients with simple obesity admitted to Xinyu Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from January 2021 to December 2022 were selected as the study subjects.They were divided into a control group(30 cases)and an observation group(30 cases)according to random number table method.The control group received acupoint thread embedding treatment,while the observation group received acupoint thread embedding combined with disposable thread embedding needle sweeping treatment.The clinical efficacy,weight,hip circumference,waist circumference,body mass index(BMI),and waist-hip ratio(WHR)between the two groups were com-pared.Results The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).There were no statistically significant differences in body weight,hip circumference,waist circumference,BMI and WHR between the two groups before treatment(P＞0.05).After treatment,the body weight,BMI and WHR of the two groups were lower than those before treatment,and the hip circumference and waist circumference were shorter than those before treatment,and the body weight,BMI and WHR of the observation group were lower than those of the control group,and the hip circumference and waist circumference were shorter than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion The treatment effect of acupoint thread embedding combined with disposable thread embedding needle sweeping is better than that of simple acupoint thread embedding in the treatment of simple obesity,which is more conducive to shortening the waist circumference and hip circumference of patients,reducing the body weight,BMI and WHR.
