Objective To use NoteExpress3.8.0 and CiteSpace software to visually analyze relevant literature in the field of Wumei Pills in China in the past 10 years,clarify the research progress,hotspots,and future development trends of Wumei Pills,and provide theoretical basis and direction guidance for Wumei Pill related research.Methods In this study,the theme word"Wumei Pill"was selected from China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI),Wanfang Database,and VIP Database.1 359,1 165,and 1719 relevant literature were selected,and the plagiarism fields were selected as author,title,and journal.After selecting the relevant literature from 1958 to 2022,there were 2 080 remaining.Focusing on author,insti-tution and keywords,the visualization map was made,and keyword co-occurrence and cluster analysis were carried out.Re-sults This study ultimately included 2 080 articles,and the overall annual publication volume showed an increasing trend;The journal with the highest number of articles is New Traditional Chinese Medicine(64 articles),and the author with the most publications is Fan Heng(26 articles);Internal medicine diseases are the most common treatment for diseases;Key-word clustering analysis formed 13 clustering labels,and the research mainly focused on the clinical efficacy of Wumei Pill in treating diseases such as thirst and colitis,as well as the experience summary of various medical practitioners in clinical application of Wumei Pill.Conclusion Wumei Pill is mainly used in the clinical application and research of diabetes,ulcer-ative colitis,tumor and other diseases;Pharmacological experimental research mainly focuses on the mechanism of cell apoptosis.
