Objective Three-dimensional ultrasound was used to monitor follicles of infertility patients with different tradi-tional Chinese medicine syndrome types and evaluate their clinical value. Methods A total of 80 infertility patients with dif-ferent traditional Chinese medicine syndrome types admitted to Jiangxi Provincial Maternal and Child Health Hospital from January 2021 to June 2023 were selected as research objects.Ovulation type and antral follicle count(AFC)were evaluated by three-dimensional ultrasound, and follicle monitoring characteristics corresponding to patients with different syndrome types were analyzed. Results Among infertility patients, kidney deficiency syndrome was the most common and the most im-portant traditional Chinese medicine syndrome type.AFC predicted the ovarian reserve function, and the decrease of ovarian reserve function was the most obvious in the patients with stasis uterine syndrome and the least in the patients with phlegm-dampness block syndrome. The number of ovulation cases of small follicle in kidney-yang deficient patients was the most. There were more cases of normal ovulation, small follicular ovulation or anovulation in patients with liver qi depres-sion.Conclusion It is found that the main type of infertility syndrome is kidney deficiency syndrome, which is closely relat-ed to ovulation disorder and follicle development. The syndrome of liver-qi stagnation is closely related to ovulation disorder, which is characterized by small follicular ovulation and follicular luteinization without ovulation. There is a close relationship between stasis uterine syndrome and abnormal decline of ovarian reserve function.Phlegm-dampness block syndrome is usually associated with infertility caused by polycystic ovary syndrome.
