Objective To analyze the application effect of auricular acupoint pressing beans combined with warming acupuncture on patients with diabetic peripheral neuropathy.Methods A total of 70 patients with diabetic peripheral neu-ropathy admitted to the Department of Endocrinology,Xingguo Hospital Affiliated to Gannan Medical College from August 2021 to August 2023 were selected as the research objects.According to the two-color ball method,they were divided into the control group(n=35)and the observation group(n=35).The control group was treated with routine treatment,and the ob-servation group was treated with auricular acupoint pressing beans combined with warming acupuncture on the basis of the control group.The total effective rate of the two groups was compared,and the changes of sensory conduction velocity(SCV)and motor conduction velocity(MCV)of median nerve and common peroneal nerve before and after treatment were compared between the two groups.The blood glucose indexes(glycosylated hemoglobin[HbA1C],fasting blood glucose[FBG])of the two groups before and after treatment were analyzed.The traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores and quality of life(adjusted diabetes-specific quality of life scale[A-DQOL])scores were compared between the two groups before and after treatment.Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 97.14％,which was higher than 82.85％of the con-trol group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).The levels of FBG,HbA1C,traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores and A-DQOL scores of the two groups after treatment were lower than those before treatment,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).And the levels of FBG,HbA1C,traditional Chinese medicine syn-drome scores and A-DQOL scores in the observation group after treatment were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).The SCV and MCV of median nerve and common peroneal nerve in the two groups after treatment were higher than those before treatment,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).After treatment,the SCV and MCV of median nerve and common peroneal nerve in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion Auricular acupoint pressing beans combined with warming acupuncture is effective in the treatment of patients with diabetic peripheral neu-ropathy,which can improve the clinical symptoms,correct blood glucose metabolism,and accelerate peripheral nerve con-duction velocity,which is worthy of promotion.
