Objective To explore the relationship between self-management skills and mental elasticity in the patients with schizophrenia,in order to afford the intervention countermove of promoting rehabilitation.Methods A total of 245 patients with schizophrenia who were in recovery phase admitted to Shandong Daizhuang Hospital with schizophrenia from October 2022 to February 2023 were selected as the study objects,and Conner-Davidson resilience scale(CD-RISC)and schizophrenia self-management instrument scale(SSMIS)were used to conduct a survey in them,and the relationship of be-tween them was analysed using Pearson correlation analysis and regression analysis.Results The total score of CD-RISC was(59.71±4.92)points,and the total score of SSMIS was(64.67±7.67)points in patients with schizophrenia.Pearson cor-relation analysis showed that there was positive correlation between mental resilience and self-management ability(r=0.925,P<0.0 1).The results of regression analysis showed that mental resilience could significantly predict self-management abil-ity(β=0.928,P<0.0 1),and mental resilience alone explained 85.4%of the variation in self-management ability.Conclu-sion Mental resilience is a predictive factor of self-management ability,improving the level of mental resilience can help to perfecting illness self-management ability of patients with schizophrenia.
