Objective To analyze the effect of pre-prescription review system on the quality of obstetric prescriptions in Ji-nan Maternal and Child Care Hospital(hereinafter referred to as"our hospital").Methods The obstetrical outpatient pre-scriptions of our hospital were selected from January to April 2021 and January to April 2023.After adopting the prescrip-tion pre-review system,the distribution of unreasonable prescriptions in the obstetrics outpatient department was observed from January to April 2021,and the unreasonable prescriptions were analyzed,corresponding measures were taken for un-reasonable prescriptions in the"X week of pregnancy",and the changes in the qualified rate of prescriptions in the obstetrics outpatient department of our hospital were observed from January to April 2023.Results From January to April 2021,the number of unqualified prescriptions accounted for 20.4％,the number of unsuitable prescriptions for indications accounted for 91.62％,and the number of unqualified prescriptions for clinical diagnosis of"X weeks of pregnancy"accounted for 93.52％.After collecting medication rules for unreasonable prescriptions diagnosed as"X weeks of pregnancy"and giving feedback to obstetricians,the qualified rate of obstetrics outpatient prescriptions in our hospital from January to April 2023 was 96.58％,which increased by 16.98％compared with that from January to April 2021.Conclusion The pre-prescription review system has greatly improved the prescription qualification rate in obstetrics outpatient department of our hospital.
