Research literature is an important medium for international academic exchanges and it is a carrier for the dis-semination of major research results.With the rapid development of medical research,the existing medical education and teaching practice can not meet the increasing demand for knowledge.Efficient reading of scientific research literature is an important means for medical postgraduates to master the latest research progress in related research fields,learn new tech-nologies and new theories,and improve their scientific research thinking.Medical graduate students who have not yet carried out scientific research tasks lack experience in scientific research literature reading,coupled with the lack of basic knowl-edge,so it is common to have shallow reading and fail to grasp the gist of the literature.Aiming at this problem in graduate education,this paper introduces the significance of reading scientific research literature,the problems existing in reading scientific research literature for medical graduate students,and the practical strategies to improve the reading ability of med-ical graduate students.This paper provides new ideas and suggestions for postgraduates to efficiently read scientific research literature,which helps guide students to efficiently and comprehensively grasp the research content and latest developments in the field,solve their own research problems and perplexities,and optimize and promote their own research topics.
