Objective To explore the application value of personalized nursing intervention in pediatric orthopedic periph-eral venipuncture. Methods A total of 130 children who received traditional peripheral venous indwelling needle in the Second General Hospital of Fuzhou in October 2023 were selected as the control group, and 114 children who received per-sonalized nursing intervention for peripheral venous puncture in November 2023 were selected as the observation group. Both groups were treated until the children were discharged. The success rate of one puncture, family satisfaction, crying time and difference in heart rate increuse during puncture were observed in the two groups. Results The crying time of the observation group was shorter than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The success rate of one puncture among the observation group nurses was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The satisfaction of the family members of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The heart rate before puncture, increase in heart rate, and difference in heart rate increase of the observation group nurses were lower than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Personalized nursing intervention can effectively shorten children's crying time, reduce nurses'stress during puncture, and improve the success rate of one-time puncture and family members'satisfaction.
